I believe from what I have read, that i can use john deere hy-gard hydraulic fluid to use in my hydraulic/transmission reservoirs on my 7010/7030.
Is this true? Thanks cory |

most high quality trans/ hydraulic fluids will meet 20 different specs.. They should be listed on the back of the bucket... Will be Allison C3, CAT TO2, JD 27xx (?), Allis 821... etc.
Hyguard should be one of the QUALITY oils... check the bucket spec.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I have been using Hy-Gard for many years in 7000 series tractors with no issues.

Not "N-series" Gleaners, but sometime after 1999 they went away from Dexron (red) hydraulic fluid on the Gleaner line.

Same here. In the past I've used Hy-Gard in my 7010 with no issues. In recent years, I switched to the Premium Trans/Hydraulic oil from TSC and had good results with that too. Both meet the 821 spec.
