Well,, it been a long time I ain't had to order any parts from AGCO so, I tried to go to their site like I used to but they ain't got their site setup where you could access their books as "Guest" and find your parts before you contacted their parts counter for ordering,,or maybe a member selling Allis parts,,?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Go to parts.agcocorp.com.  Click on search by parts book.  Then it will let you search by model.  Type in "D17" and the early book and series 4 book both show up.  You do not have to choose a dealer to look at parts list.  You only have to sign up and choose a dealer if you want to see their pricing or order parts on line.  Any other questions let me know.

Yes, they rearranged their site and access to some things is less obvious than before but once you get used to it, it's not too bad.  You can still access parts books as guest but you have to drill down a few layers.

Here's a direct link to the new parts book page.  Hopefully this will help:

Thanks Ryan, you beat me to it!  Sorry about the redundant post.  That's exactly how I got to the link I provided.

I went to SEARCH BY MODEL and type in D17 and it works... Type in B or C and it just waits... will not go .... i had to click on the BROWSE box and get the drop down and click on... Allis - tractor - to get the "LIST of models"..... they have B/ C/ IB all together and it will not take one seperate..

Thanks for the link !!

NOTE... the search will not take a single letter... You can type in "B TRACTOR" and it will find it.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Seems like there's some room for improvement in the search function.  For instance, I was looking up a part for my L2 Gleaner.  If I search on "L2" I get a couple hits, but my serial # range didn't show up.  However, if I browse through the Gleaner section, I see more L2 parts book options, including the one I was looking for.

Hey Ryan and Dave,,,I tried the link and it took me to an all white page with AGCOPARTSBOOKS.COM in middle of page and 8.17.2 @2022 in bottom of page. Would not let me do anything. Tried it several times and seems to lock on that page,,,,,??

Here is what I have always done:. Go to www.agcopartsbooks.com and click on the guest button. I search what I am looking for and write down the part numbers. Then I send my local dealer an email with my list of parts and their respective part numbers. It works pretty well.
'49 G, '54 WD45, '55 CA, '56 WD45D, '57 WD45, '58 D14, '59 D14, '60 D14, '61 D15D, '66 D15II, '66 D21II, '67 D17IV, '67 D17IVD, '67 190XTD, '73 620, '76 185, '77 175, '84 8030, '85 6080

I never had any luck making direct links to that site I always end up with the page Joe described.

Click on the bar at the bottom where it says "OR click here to visit" etc.  That should get you to the page where you click on Guest User.

For the B or C, I use "ib".  B or C returns literally every word with a B or C in it.  Very long list.

Took me a bit to catch on to the new parts page, but I really like it.  Works on my smart phone when the old one didn't.

I posted about my intercooler for my 8070 and somebody suggest to look it up on Agcoparts.  Was able to get the info I needed after a couple of tries.  Agco bashing is a great spectator sport but I find my local dealer, Agriterra equipment, fairly helpful for my 38 yr old 8070 and my 30 year old MF 8570 combine  Sure hope they manage to stay open in our local town so try to buy there as much as possible. Hope to upgrade to a newer MF or Gleaner combine later this year if we have a good crop.

Thanks for the info. I had some of the same questions about the parts site. AJL you are 100% correct with your observation. Smile
