I am makeing a 3 point hitch for my D17 series 3. I have the swing and lift arms ordered . How long does the piece of angle iron need to be that i weld my swing arm pins to ?

Made mine 20 inches.My lower arms ends angle.
Why do today what you can put off til tomorrow.
