Front hydraulic pump 'Guard' for Model 415 Hydraulic Loader.

Gary
………………..……………………………………………………………..

I was thinking you were referring to the left and right Side Rails.

Those same side holes are used to mount a Grille Guard.

The 2 threaded holes in front and below the Grille are normally used to mount the Hydraulic Pump for the 400 Series Loader.

Also, there was a weight that fit those 2 holes, too.  Here's a picture of the one off a D-19, but the D-14/15 fit similarly...Wink

weren't they also for a "crane" to use when mounting a cultivator on the side rails when there was a wide front end?  It allowed the cultivator halves to swing around the front tires.
Our D17 had a bracket that bolted towards the front of the side rails and bolted into the holes like those shown on the D15
