You will need to do all three orange numbers, and then you'll always get people saying; "that can't be right".

You can use MS Paint on your computer to get the colour off any photo or text The column heading on here are RGB (R255 G132 B0) but that is just one. If you are using a program that uses Hex then it will convert RGB to Hex, usually, to get the number you require.
I would suggest you use a photo you are happy with for colour. Edited by Redwood - 13 Feb 2012 at 11:52am |

Found this for you, don't know if it will help or not?
Persian Orange http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shades_of_orange#Persian_orange Persian orange is a color used in pottery and Persian carpets in Iran. The first recorded use of Persian orange as a color name in English was in 1892.[16] Orange pudding (milk added to pureed oranges that is mixed in a blender with flour and slowly boiled on a stovetop) is colored Persian orange, assuming no food coloring is added. Allis-Chalmers tractors have been colored Persian orange since 1928 so that, even when caked with dirt, they could still be distinguished from landscape features.[17] [16] Maerz and Paul A Dictionary of Color New York:1930 McGraw-Hill Page 201; color sample of Persian orange: Page 43 Plate 10 Color Sample F10 [17] Maerz and Paul A Dictionary of Color New York:1930 McGraw-Hill Page 199; Color Sample of Melon: Page 27 Plate 2 Color Sample D10 — Color coordinates — Hex triplet #D99058 RGB¹ (r, g, b) (217, 144, 88) HSV (h, s, v) (26°, 59%, 85[15]%) Source ISCC-NBS ¹: Normalized to [0–255] (byte) [15] web.forrett.com Color Conversion Tool set to hex code #D99058 (Persian Orange) : http://web.forret.com/tools/color.asp?RGB=%23D99058 Good Luck and God Bless, Ted J |
