That’s catching on here in NC. How long have you been growing? It’s kinda of funny the way some people have jumped into growing and others are riding the fence waiting to see how it works out.

I am not growing it.
I built this farmer a hemp stripper and was testing it out.
One report I seen, said there was over 20,000 ac planted in KY this year.
Here is the stripper.

Actually, he probably is not.  Have you looked into growing it here in MI?  Paperwork, permits, etc.

The hemp grower called today and ask how soon I could have him another stripper ready.
They are all kinds of paper work you have to do.
But it you do it right and the hemp test to high, you just loss your crop, not go to jail.

How much is one of them?  I've got a neighbor who's into that stuff.  I forget how many plants they put in this year, but it was a BUNCH.  He won't tell me how much they have in the whole thing so far.  He never thought about a place to dry the stuff.  He called me a couple of weeks ago and wanted to use my pole barn.  Told him SURE, if he could get all the stuff out of it.  He came over, took a look and said, "No thanks".  LOL

$3000.00
I am working on three this week.
Will have better shields, etc. on them.
Plus I made a major upgrade to the first one late last week.
Stripping it by hand takes a lot of labor.

Yes.......I'd also like to see a video of how the thing works.

Anybody remember the old card game "Pit"......that emulated the trading that goes on in the commodity trading floors? I clearly remember the game we had back in the 60's included the commodity "hemp".

And knowing hemp is used to make high quality fiber products, including ropes, it lends credence to the theory that one of the pastimes of the old cowboys was to sit around the campfire at night smoking bits of rope.

I thought that was the other kind with it hanging upside down. A guy told me that's how you get the THC "goofy juice" into the leaves most.

Here it is tested for THC before you can cut it.
To get high, you would need to smoke so much, so fast, you would most likely die of smoke inhalation.
What they want is a high CBD.
These plants are so oily, that it will cake up on your shoes when you walk on it.

Hemp contains miniscule amounts of THC, most of the time undetectable. Good Ol Boys Sheriffs down in Dent and Texas counties, Finding MASSIVE Maryjane fields hack them all down and burn it, was native Hemp from the old rope hemp farms of the 20s/30s.

Smoke like all get out, yet NOBODY high!!

Hemp is a relative of Cannabis, nowhere near to effects. I am still not sold on CBD, know those that use it and praise it but many of these are the same people that claimed Placebos were wonder drugs!!

Yep not long back Approcot Seeds and Layitril was the cure for all cancers - seems to have gone bust as a mericale cure but lot of individuals laughed all the way to the bank

Reminds me of the time , back in the early 80's when the local sheriff was runnin fer re-election, found pot growin on my great uncle's farm, that my mother was the trustee of.  Pot was growin in sludge piles, that the county had dumped there!  I wonder where them seeds came from?  Brings to mind this golden oldie!

Potheads do not understand as they have gone Nose Blind that the stuff REEKS like Skunk while drying.   Nephew noted that as to locating Weed farms under Grow Lamps in the city that the smell of skunk would bring calls to the animal control people who would then notify Police!!

Going to delivery it on Sat.
The next unit will have even more upgrades.
It takes 4-5 units to get the design right.

If thought would not have all the local potheads sneaking in at night and walking away with the materials would consider that for here. Just the idiots that would see Marijuana and NOT Hemp would be the problem, that and getting sued for supplying dope that makes them sick.

Pictures like the ones I have posted is all I can find online.
All the ones I have seen sell for $12,000+.
$3-4000 retail, is on the high side for what it cost to built one.
I am going to shot a video this weekend.
The bto I am building these for has had 8-10 people stripping hemp for the last two weeks and have not made a dent in the crop. It is very labor intensive.
It depends on the type of hemp you raise on how you have to harvest it.
They have been app 10 people arrested at this one farm in the last two weeks for stealing the hemp and in the area, the farmers have shot  two (with bird shot).
One plant will yield 1 lbs+, so if mixed with MJ, it will bring $3-5,000 or more.
