Help with stuck engine block

Could anyone give me any advice on how to un stick a motor that has been stuck for about 7 months. No rust really, have top and bottom off and all 4 pistons soaking in PB blaster for two weeks and I have a hand crank in the front. What can I safely hit it with to bust it loose. Thanks in advance.

you didnt say what tractor, but if it is new enough to have a starter take it out, and use a prybar on the ring gear,  dont over do it,  if it wont move a little wait longer you dont want to damage the teeth.  what you want is just a litte movement, then you can rock it back and forth more and more until its loose.  this has worked for me on several tractors. 

in my opinion smacking the pistons is a last resort as you might not be able to reuse them ro break something else. but sometimes you can get lucky with a sledge and a 3x3 or 4x4 block

I bought a D 19 some years back, that had a stuck motor. I first pulled all the plugs and used PB blaster, and diesal fuel and filled each cyclinder. I removed the front sheet metal along with the raditor, I put a good 6 point socket on the crank bolt, and a couple of times each day I rocked the motor back and fourth. In apx 4 or 5 days it came loose. I didnt put alot of pressure on the motor, didnt want to bend a pushrod or something.After the motor came loose I drained the oil to get all the blaster etc out of the cyclinders. Hope this helps

When you try to force a stuck engine over the pistons going up are loading the connecting rods more than normal running and they can fail in column buckling mode. E.g. BEND. And that bend if sideways can bind the rod bearing and the piston even worse. If you have the head off that pinch can push the sleeve up and a quarter turn later coming down it can slice the o-rings or not hit the bottom hole in a web that's not very strong and break the block.

Get some Kroil or mix some Hagen's brew, half and half acetone and ATF. Some times those work better than PB Blaster.

I use Pb blaster and if its like a B,c or ca i put the PTO on and put a wrench on the belt pulley nut and brake them lose that way work for me twice. good luck keep us posted~!!

Jack it up till one tire is off the ground put in gear then rock the tire back and forth.

 Don't force it loose by hitting on the crank. Do as others said, take out the plugs and fill with your favorite penetrating solution. ATF and acetone seems to be used by a lot of guys. Maybe a little diesel. Let it soak in and then jack one back tire off the ground, put it in 4th gear and give it a twist every day. Rock it back and forth without trying to force it.
 If it breaks loose, turn it over to blow excess fluid out of the cylinders, change the oil, check plugs and give it a try.
 Let us know what you come up with.

The jack method works the best as the force you apply by by rocking the tire while it is in high gear will transmit to the engine.
 On some small snowmobile engines found using brake fluid also worked but after putting it down plug hole and leaving it set for a day or so then new was added and the barrels were heated with torch they would free up.

 A few years ago i bought a stuck WD, squirted the cylinders full of loose juice, after draining the crankcase of milky oil. Jacked up a wheel and rocked it a bit whenever I walked by it . One day it seemed to be free-ing up, got a little more vigerous with the wheel rocking and  CRUNCH,  shucked the teeth off the cam cuz the oil pump had seized.
 
 MORAL OF STORY: pull the engine , tear it down carefully. end of story.  Once you have pulled the cam, etc. Get an oak block and tap the piston/ rods out.

If you have both the top and bottom off it would be my guess with no signs of rust that it is not the pistons that are stuck. I would start looking at the flywheel first or next for a spun bearing.
 
I have read more than once of the head and pan being removed only to find a locked starter.
If it is a B, C or CA you can also have a cap screw on the bell housing screwed in tight on the flywheel.

try using medical iodine in the cylinders.put it in and leave it set for a while.the iodine gets down between the piston and cylinder walls to free it up

Has the tractor had a cultivator on it since the last time it
started? Sometimes people take the cultivator off or a
mounted implement and put the bolts back into the
flywheel housing or bell housing and they are then too
long and screw tight against the flywheel. Happened to
me once and an old timer suggested that this could be
the problem. HTH
