 Topic: Help with a different orange tractor

My neighbor stopped by last night and wanted my help with a tractor he just drove 5 hours to get and now that it's home it does not raise and lower the loader and the 3 point at the same time. The problem here is that the orange tractor is a Kubota and there is not another forum like the A-C forum ANYWHERE. Can someone direct me to some help so I can help him? It's a M6800 and no he does not have the manual yet. Thanks folks and for those of you who wondered...yes I am still alive and knee deep in the original orange!

I would think that it is designed that way so you could use the 3 point without having to worry about the fel moving or having to remove it. Must be some sort of valving or switch employed to shut off hydraulic power to front or rear depending on which hydraulics you need at the time. Nowadays probably something electronic/internal as opposed to the manual valves we had to employ to keep our fel stationary while doing other work with the tractor.

My 5610 Ford will not raise the 3 point lift and the front end loader at the same time. If the 3 point lever if in the raised position, it will lift and when it stops the FEL will lift. If the 3 point lever is all the way down, then the FEL will lift immediately. Always been that way. The Kobota may also work that way. I just don't know for sure about Kobota.

in an open centre system oil flows to the path of least resistance so if it requires less pressure to lift the arms and then the loader that's whats going to happen.

It probly won't lift both at the same time, at least not anywhere near normal speed. Its not likely that there is anything wrong, because with the open center system on that tractor, if something goes wrong, or the power beyond circuit is not correct, pretty much everything quits. That tractor is very, very simple in design. I've been working at a dealership for ten years now, and kubota really hasn't changed much at all on their tractors.

There is a knob behind your ankles just above the platform on my M9000, I think that only controls rate of lower though on the 3 point hitch.
