While adjusting wet clutch on dozer dropped a bolt and lockwasher in housing!!! What are my chances of finding it with a magnet and flashlight???????????

Just keep fishing - surprised what one can snag - might try putting something over magnet so it doesn't stick to the housing and just the bolt and washer .
I have fished tools out of rear housing , parts out of dry clutch housings with magnets GOOD LUCK

Will be in the clutch oil sump at some stage if not already there. not difficult to get it out of there with the sizable drain plugs AC use

My 7G has magnetic drain plugs, did these? If do will stay there until you pull the plug.

They didnt put magnetic plugs in those engine clutch sumps Dave, but they used the same thread for the plug as on the powershift trans and most other drain plugs on the machines, so you can put a mag plug in if you want.
