Does anyone know what the GPM is on the hd5/Detroit 2-71? Has anyone replaced with an inline 12v water pump?

Once arrived as a spare you should take a used pump to your servicing Detroit Dealer and have them install new bearings and seals, inspect the impeller and set the tolerances, when swap it on the engine then do the same with your old pump and spare it on shelf.  Bearings and seals are least costly, it is getting decent core housings and impellers that are not any longer made that drives the prices.
