Drot loader , first I have seen on a HD5 rather than tracto-motive, now with oil tank behind seat it would be a little cramped for operator. Few guards missing and such from undercarrage but price is in reason.
Sprocket replacement can be a chore unless you have done it before, a weld on ring, installed by professional would be the cheap and easy way if you have never done undercarrage work before.

Might have to think about it as it is just down the road from me, comparatively speaking. But then there is a D grader that I could drive home, it is so close, and I haven't jumped on that either... still have a 44 C I have to get out of the shop...

What is the weight of a HD5G?  Can I safely haul it on a single wheel two axle gooseneck?

A ggod 15,000 and on 2 axel you would have to transfer lot of weight to tow viehicle, then wonder if it was bridged right.
I have a tri-axel (single wheel) I hauled my HD5 and FD5 on , hauled my D6-9U on it also but may have been over on axels then as had the mobile home type under it with 14.5 tires. Now have 3 - 7,000 axels with 245 X16 tires but use dump truck for towing.
