I have a HD3 diesel dozer, need to work on the ejection pump, is there timing marks to line up before I take the pump off. Where can I send pump to get it worked on. Thank You

Align the 2 marks inside before pulling it off. People send me pumps for rebuild from all over the country if you don't have anyone close you can trust. It should be a RoosaMaster DB, which there's been many write ups on this page about the removal and installation. Might need to search Allis 185 injection pump removal, seems there was a very well detailed writeup.

Hi, We are looking to pull the pump off our 180 to get rebuilt. We took the plate off the pump window and turned engine over but do not see a mark on the disk that rotates. The fixed disk on the left has a mark near the bottom of the window. My thinking is that since the flat at the end of the pump drive shaft is supposed to be marked and the hub inside the pump that accepts the flat supposed to be marked so you can't get the pump off by 180 degrees, if you scribe the pump to the engine and you put the shaft into the pump correctly (not 180 deg off), the pump would have to be in time when reinstalled after rebuild.
What are you thoughts on this. Is this correct or am I missing something here. What do you charge and what is the turn around for a 180 pump rebuild? I would also need to buy or borrow a tool for the umbrella seal. My emails is: vernon_tipp@yahoo.com.

Take the injection line bolt out of the pump for #1 cyl, (taking all out anyway to remove) look in the hole, you will see the port line up about the time the mark will be close. #1 cylinder is 3 o'clock position as viewed from the seat. I loan the tools out when I rebuild pumps, maybe your shop will too.

Kinda jumping in on here. Awaiting my arrival of a 1970 180 w/500 loader. Seller contacted me yesterday advising all the diesel he found in crankcase. (His brother recently rebuilt pump). My assumption is he rolled one of the seal on installation. Am I able to obtain them seals at Napa? Or somewhere particular?

don't think NAPA carries those, I buy mine from a local injection pump repair shop.
Or ED may sell them to you as well. Dan

best to get locally if possible, JD, IH or Agco dealers have them, as well as pump shops. I try not to get carried away selling small parts online lol!
