Looks like it might be about the same size as the CAT D10 link. I worked the link line in Peoria when they were running the D10 for tests and they ended up putting a keyway across the top of the link to help hold the shoe in place.

  I tried to weigh it on my wifes antique kitchen scale that goes to 24 lbs,  way heavier than that,  I would guess around 40 lbs. 17" long x 7" tall, center to center is approx. 11.5"
