 I was pulling this new to me Kuhn discbine.i have been using the 200 to run my balers the last three years which means very little workout and filling up the fuel tank once a year. Today the 200 got a workout and I laughed to myself while cutting about how it was grunting and how I burned 1/4 tank of fuel.

Our hay is less then a foot high an the trees are just starting to leaf out. I love the smell of new mown hay!

nice pictures!! I was wondering if anyone else was cutting hay on this cold windy day!! I was on my wd45 w/ 80r sickle bar, grass was nice& thick like yours... sometimes it was slow going!!

I could have cut three weeks ago. A couple of years ago it was June before I could cut I am grateful I have it on the ground and have a decent week ahead.

Red Bank, We are at least a month away from that season. Snow and freezing temps here yesterday. I use to help make hay every year with Dad and then with neighbor. Always enjoyed the work. Thanks for posting the pictures. Good to give your 200 a work out. I spied a couple AC tractors at local auction house on consignment. A WD type and a bigger 200 series. I never ran a discbine. Looks like the machine for the job! Regards, Chris

Have almost the exact same setup !90xt 3 with a cab and Kuhn fc283rtg, Nice mowing in 6th gear and not plugging and stopping. Just replacing the rolls in the haybine the rubber on the bottom roll was peeling like the new hollands. Sent them to B&D rollers in Minnesota to get recovered.

I bought the Kuhn three weeks ago the rollers had been recovered in 2016. I bale fescue so didn’t really need the rollers but the thoughts of a 9’ disc mower hanging off the back bothered me too. I don’t like all that weight hanging off the back just me.
