This will be my 1st Fathers Day without my Dad who passed away in Mar. at 86 yrs. of age. He was a great man, well respected by all who knew him. And even though he ran a lot of BIG jobs  ( He was an I.B.E.W. electrician ) he always treated others with respect and never placed himself above his people.
So to those of you who still have your Dads, cherish them, but most of all , love them  despite whatever faults they may have.
I awoke this morning to a handmade card from my 13 yr. old daughter and will surely receive calls from the 2 kids who are independant, responsible adults :)
They are the thing i am most proud of in my life, Take care and Happy FD to all.

My Dad passed away in 1965 but I'll have my son and daughter along with 2 grandsons here today.  A 3rd grandson is away at church camp but he called me yesterday wishing me a Happy Fathers Day.  It's shaping up to be a great day.
