Got both of the '53 WDs out today to celebrate one year since getting one of them restored. They both sat for six months before I managed to get them fired up, but they started first spin. All fluids were topped off to where they should be.

For fun, I went through and tallied up the 20 people or places I worked with to finish the first restoration over a period of about... 5 years or so? My cousin Jeremy did all the hard lifting across the finish line with the rear rims and painting and other work, but here's at least what I have notes on for companies I ordered from or worked with during the restoration process.

A.C. McCartney Equipment (Mt. Sterling, IL)
Beard Implement (Arenzville, IL)
Sievers Equipment Co. (Auburn, IL)
Arthur Ring & Sons (Rushville, IL)
Sunrise FS (Virgina, IL)
Prairieland FS (Winchester, IL)
Dugan Oil & Tire (Jacksonville, IL)
Steiner Tractor Parts (Lennon, MI)
DJs Tractor Parts (Stockbridge, MI)
The Brillman Company (Mt. Jackson, VA)
A&W Tractor (Cecil, WI)
Yesterday's Tractor (Port Townsend, WA)
Worthington Ag Parts
NAPA Auto Parts
McMaster-Carr
eBay (used parts)
The Gathering of Orange 2018 (Pontiac, IL)
YTMAG Forum Users (used parts)
This Forum Users (NOS & fab parts)
Commander Machine (Springfield, IL)
Lahey Machine (Jacksonville, IL)

Nice! Having grown up riding on the toolbox of a '52 WD, they will always have a special place in my heart.

Might have time to fire up that ol '52 today. Would be nice to get her out for a little exercise. Lots of stuff would have to move.

Mikez -- Thanks!!

Pat the Plumber -- Indeed, it was nice bumping into you too! Never think about bumping into any forum people in this neck of the woods, glad you had your A/C gear on or I would've missed ya!

wjohn -- Thanks!!

IBWD Mike -- I grew up on the toolbox of the one that has been restored. It came into my possession in 2012. The other tractor came into my possession in the mid-90s. Both were in the family, so I'm doing my best to make sure they'll be around for a long time. And also have some fun driving them around!
