My son Noah and Lincoln(7 and 3) had a great road trip to get my pulling tractor with Dave Kamp delivering it to Moses Lake.I a great dinner and Dave paid (That was nice!!!) and talked for awhile and switched out tractors this morning and headed back and got home after a few stops and unloaded the tractor into the shop. Dave is FIRST CLASSThumbs Up It was neat seeing the scale that he is installing for CAT in George WA. (Yes that is the town) Neat going under the scale to see how it was built and how it operates. I hope Dave can post the photos on here and want to THANK HIM AGAIN for delivering my tractor. It will be done for this spring and the GOTO next year here.

Thanks for letting me share.

Got to visit with Dave and give him a brief tour of the farm on Sunday morning....seems all the AC guys come by during the busy season :(.  That was a pretty sharp tractor he was hauling, even if it had no rear wheels or engine.....I'm sure you will make her sing again!

Actually, I snagged an old C-motor and a pair of 6-30 tires and rims out of Eldon's stash when he wasn't looking. I had a few minutes at the hotel, so I slapped 'em in place and took that D21 for a blast around the parking lot. It looked so fast, that the wind stopped blowing!!!

Hee hee... actually, I think it's the smoke from the Grand Coulee fire, mixed with dust from an unpaved parking lot... got pelted with dust and sand quite a few times while my crane was lifting the big pieces in place. I need something to make my eyes water a while to get the crud out.

Quote of the trip so far seems to be:

Noah: "Look Dave- it's a dust devil! Do you see the dust devil?"
Dave" "Yeah, I ate two yesterday... they're really dry and gritty"

Sun's up high enough on the horizon now, so gonna take a tour of wide open space with a trailer full of D10/D12, hopefully just shy of Crescent, Iowa for a Friday morning drop-off!!!

Oh... and dinner last night, and this morning's breakfast were complements of Eldon's vegetable operation... he sent me down the road with two bags of small tomatoes, a fist full of carrots (tops still attached!) and some other delicious goodies... an excellent alternative to a microwave burrito and warm soda pop!!! Thanks Eldon!!

Sounds like you had a good time and will want to go back again!  Did Eldon dig them up for you or was he not even looking?  LOL  Glad you had a safe trip!  Now be safe on the way home too!  Sounds like everyone involved is really happy!  Good!

I'm certain the carrots weren't out of the ground more than 3-4 hours when he handed 'em to me... the little tomatos, the cucumber, all just as fresh.

All gone now... (urp)...

Yeah Dave snuck in on me...wondered who was sitting in my lawn chair....anyway, I had the pleasure visiting with him twice in less than a week! I tried to get him to try my famous sweetcorn, but I think he was scared he would never be able to eat Ioway corn again :(  LOL! Thanks for the lumber Dave...I will use it for my next little project. Glad you had a good trip!
