It's not an Allis but I've been looking for one of these for some time now. Bought it as a none runner and 20 minutes later it started, drove and the sickle works, so I'm pretty happy about that. It was made in Minneapolis MN about 1950.

American Farm Machinery Co. out of Minneapolis MN. The model is a Suburbanite but they are more commonly known as Kinkades. This is the last model made before they went out of business around 1952.

Pretty cool! I have never seen one before. The engine inside the wheel is pretty wild! I have an old Mont Ward chor trak .

Good find!  I have one just like it except with no mower.  Bought it a few years ago at a local farm sale.  Missing the air cleaner but otherwise all there.

Lonnie where the helms do you find this stuff?  Have you got some kind of radar?
That has got to be the koolest, wierdest mower thingy I have ever seen!  I imagine when you unloaded it at home a coupla goats fell over just from the sight of it........
Looks like the G sickle has a little brother now.
Great find!
cheers,
Creek

Hey Creek, the wife keeps threatening to cancel the internet if I keep bringing this stuff home. But she's all talk. I think?

Jeez you better hope so.  You have a certain talent for the off beat machines...and animals as well.  I'm still putting off the goat pen construction, hopefully I won't get the post hole auger fixed until after freeze up......hoping maybe by spring it will be forgotten.  Just in case, if you see our number on your caller ID, and if you are "sold out", there might be some money or parts in it for you.  Heh heh....
I'm off to Poland and Russia in a coupla weeks, if I see anything like this contraption I'll give them your number!
cheers,

Creek

I'll hang a SOLD sign on all the goats for you. There is probably lots of neat stuff over there to look at, not as many scrap dealers turning everthing in. Have a safe trip.

Sold sign is a good idea.  Hope it doesn't scare them....

If it all pans out I'll only be in Russia a couple of days, Poland a bit longer, then off to Finland again.  Still trying to get a visa for Russia.  I was in Helsinki last month and bought a magazine "Tractori Special" full of ads for tractors for sale.  Only found one AC - a pretty beat up 919 hydro with rebuilt engine they wanted $1400 for.  The rest were Volvos, Kubotas, Valmets, Fords, Fergusons, etc.  Few green things and a few Russian made as well.  Didn't see any really restored jobs, just some that looked repainted - I think tractor collecting / restoring hasn't hit Finland yet.  Hmmmm....
cheers,
Creek

If you can't get a visa for Russia, try for a mastercard. LOL

I'm hoping the whole dang thing gets cancelled.  Rather stay home.  Work is ruining my chicken huntin' season - again, dangit!

Here is one for you:
