DVR'd the agco gleaner super 7 program and watched it last night, the guy said the axial or A series gleaners were done and they were going to consentrate on the Transverse rotor. Two things occured to me one was the kick in the nuts every A series Gleaner owner is now going to expierence, from an ill advised idea to make an axial gleaner to begin with, and two the guy seemed to be so impressed at the simplicity and revolutionary concept of the natural flow combine???? Really???? Did they forget that Allis Chalmers was the company that designed built and perfected the Natural flow combine, the same company that built the world largest hydro turbines, the worlds largest rock crushers, the worlds largest steam turbines, the worlds largest crawlers, the worlds largest guns, the worlds largest etc etc etc............I know the program was from agco but the only thing they did was tweak and re decal an already proven design, seems that credit should have been given where credit was deserved.

I did not see the program but the man on the Show should have been Kevin Bein, and He was THERE when Gleaner introduced the Natural flow combine.  That is why he is so impressed!

Kevin started with AC back in 76, if i remember correctly,  he is very passionate with the Gleaner brand,  honestly if it wasn't for him, there probably would be no Gleaner for the past 5 years or so. When he retires be sure to see Gleaner by Massey Ferguson.  To bad there was no one like him over in the Agco tractor camp.
