I am looking for some advise on setting my L for wheat what cylynder speed and size pully and basic settings for wheat 1st year running wheat with it thanks for any help

For cylinder speed it should be the smaller pulley if its the same as the early L2's. set cylinder around 1/4.

Every crop's a little different. Like Ryan said use the small pulley, and if your cylinder bars are worn, you'll need it wound up pretty good. The fan should be shut down most of the way. The sieves will need to be the finer ones if you've got more than one set, and just a pinch flat of a 45 degree angle is a good place to start, but moisture, yield and variety change that quite a bit.

most machines havent turned their cylinder bars .. if you have a torch and a water hose ..turn them .. just like new..... fan settings arent critical as its hard to push wheat over the sieves ..with small grains ran cylinder fast like 1100 or so maybe faster .. obviously corn is much slower ...
