Daughter#1, I have a similar Crop Saving Guide booklet from 1976 - maybe its the same?  Its information is interesting by today's standards.  I wonder how they would classify the harvest days per month available by todays weather??  2009's harvest season?

I wanted to add that it lists acres per hour(aph) for Acres combined per hour @ 1mph.  So, if the K is set properly and picking reasonably standing corn, it should be able to do 2.5 mph.  At 2.5mph, the 0.8aph becomes 2.0  & 0.9aph becomes 2.25.  Im thinking those figures are theoretical.  In 1976, a K2 330 should have been able to harvest 22.5 acres of corn in 10 hours unloading on the go with very long passes.  At 130 bu/a, thats 2925 bushels or 32.5 graintank loads @ 90bu/k2 graintank or 3.2 loads per hour like DrAllis stated.  Today, a k2 330 harvesting 200 bu/a corn would equate 4500bushels or 50 graintank loads @ 90bu/K2 graintank.  The K without graintank extensions carries 66 bushel.  In 1976, the 130bu/a total of 2925 bushels/10 hours ~ 45 loads or 4.5 loads per hour.  A K in 200 bu/a corn ~ 70 graintank loads....  The book specs unload time for a K2 @96bushel graintank is 84 seconds.

Clint- this Crop Saving Guide booklet was produced for the K2-F2 combine.  But, it does show bigger corn head capacities Acres combined per hour @ 1mph as follows:
238 0.8
330 0.9
430 1.2
438 1.6
630 1.8
830 2.4

i was running my "K" in dry corn with a 3-row head, dad had his IH 403 with a 4-row head, and i could stay ahead of him! i had to dump more often as the grain tank was quite a bit smaller!

according to an allis crop saving guide for the k it will do .8 acres per hour with a 2-38 corn head and .9 acres per hour width 3-30 corn head. With a 13' grain head it will do 1.6 acres per hour they also say that an f with a 4-30 corn head at 90% efficiency at 2.5 mph will do 3 acres per hour, 21.6 acres in 8 hours, and in 20 days will harvest 432 acres

In corn I'd expect four hoppers per hour if you have it set properly.

Dose anyone know how many bushel per hour you could expect to harvest with a K model combine with a 2 row corn head and also how many bushel of wheat per hour with 13' grain head?
