I have an old gleaner f that needs new rasp bars (or cylinder bars I think they r the same). Dealer wants 260 dollars each. Does anybody know if these are available from aftermarket? Thanks in advance.

Look up St. Johns Welding.   They hard face old bars -- that's what we have in one of our L3s

Call Trempe in Seymour IN. Got a set 2yrs ago (F2) for just under $800.My cores were junk but at the time he said $100 was bout what core would save...but then you get to pay shipping to them.You won't likely live long enough to wear them out.
