Up to their "real life" operating engine temps while on the parade route ? I'm going to stick my neck out and "assume" that you run them in 3'rd/4'th at mid throttle to labor the engine ?

Most likely a proper working thermostat, or shutters adjusted to get to a high enough temperature to properly boil off condensation that happens while sitting around as "trailer queens" do.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

Don’t need to do anything. Drive it. Just like on the farm years ago some jobs were lots of throttle all day and some mostly low throttle. On the way home open it up if you want.

I have had several in parades in the last several years, I would say half a mile at most. But I drive the tractor 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back home where the throttle gets opened up. Just like Ed says, some jobs around the farm require low idle others require high idle. In a couple of weeks I will have several tractors on a 40+ mile tractor ride, you gotta exercise them!
