hey guys first time here can anyone please help me.. hello can anyone please tell me what kind of motor this is ??? I have a 50s-60s allis chalmers forklift im desperate it was repainted I cant find any numbers I need to know the firing orser on but the plugs and distributor also the timing degrees... I can get better pics if you need them . I have pictures under forum talk it wont let me load them again... please help im desperate

I assume it's a propane hard tire forklift?  Pics of the whole machine would help.

it was propane it was changed to gas I will get you pics tomorrow does the numbers stamped on the dipstick help at all ?? they are a158501a

I know by looking at those pictures that is a Waukesha engine in it. A lot of times the tag is on the side of the engine a couple of inches up from the oil pan. Hth a little.

I wouldn't have guessed it to be a Waukesha but probably a ford motor. If it's Allis or Ford I would go with 1-2-4-3 but if it's Waukesha it could be 1-2-4-3 or 1-3-4-2 depending on the model.
