Anyone on here know anything about the AC 500 MK1 engine?  Is it the same as the 25000 series cross continental engine?  Where can a person still get parts for rebuilding them?

I have some of the big Allis 844's including three 25000, with one being a purple people eater(the semi engine). I have never heard of a 500 Mk1. What is it in? Parts are expensive for the 844's, but I have no idea about the 500 Mk1. If you post a picture I might be able to help.

i also have some 25000 engines, i just picked up 6138 that has purple parts on it. it looks like the original engine blowed, and they ordered  a remaned 6138 and put on the flywhl & clutch, water manifold, turbo&mainifold(which are purple) so they could put it back in a fire truck.p.s, i have  all the service bulitans on these motors from harvey up til the metric series came out in 78.
