I bought the loader and I would like to know a few things.

- model year
- orginal color number (I found that allis has used at least 7 different colors of yellow)
- what is the difference between TL16D and TL16DA

Loader details

TL-16D serial number 906
Engine 6000 serial 117235
Gearbox CRT3331-1 serial 23398

Group III loader, They started production in 1958, Chart sya's yours is a 1962, 18,000 +/- ship weight, 7,500 lb load capacity, Early models had  344-ci engine A-C 4DI344 Buda, which was the end of the 'lanova" type injection, your's should be the newer engine "7000" with direct injection/turbo. You did not state the engine had a turbo. Allison power-shift transmission List price back then was $18,850.
I have manuals for those Allison transmissions I would like to sell. I also have manuals for TL20/30/40 if anyone needs info, will sell cheap.
I would guess the "DA" vs "D" has to do with engine type, turbo vs aspirated? just a guess
Color, someone else can help, I thought AC had only 1 Industrial yellow in the 60's
