I took a hint from the garbage on the donor tractor to add single stick for the bucket/boom, geometry is a little off but it works well. Not a straight fore/aft line for raise lower, detours a little right on lower and left on raise, thus the geometry issue but still does the trick. Plus the return to dig linkage remained in place.

Old monster was literally a handful prior. Has a Multi purpose bucket so an extra control, so I had throttle, two steering clutch levers, two base loader controls and the 4/1, always swinging to grab something! This does take a little getting used to but works good even with a little off-line to the stick when lifting/lowering.

Hey, D, that's pretty cool. My 7 doesn't have the return bucket linkage, but it looks like this mod would reduce the hand dance a little. BTW, on your recent pics of the donor, it appears it did not use a travel speed governor(I couldn't see one). So do you have the throttle rods and that decel pedal rod bellcrank, and are they for sale......

Yes it did not have a travel speed governor. I do have all the throttle linkage that was on it, the decal system for this model actually attached to the bellcrank system at the flywheel housing, I took it all off as assemblies, Also have the later model floor pans to fit the decel system and yes all for sale. Battery box if still interested it salvageable, could be used as a builder to replace the one on your tractor, I left the controls on it when removed, plenty of rats nest in it when I took it off!

The multi-position stick (lever) is something that takes a little to get use to but one can learn fast . My 715B has the 2 stick hoe as well as single stick loader control.
When one can do two operations at once with same stick just by wrist movement - it sure uncomplicates what one has to do with your hands . Same with the FD5 dozer where 6 way blade is easily controlled . Then with pedal steer it leaves ones hands free to do all the fancy blade work.
