I am hoping some one can help me identify a crawler I bought a couple years ago to save from the scrap man, couldn't see letting a running driving crawler go to scrap for $600. I am sorry about posting this question here but I need help finding out what it is. I can't tell by the engine as it has a flathead 6 cyl chrysler that is not original. Any help is appreciated only thing I know about it is that it has the wrong engine.
Thanks for any help, and sorry about the non AC post I just need some help
Denis

? Is it a OC6 ?
Many of the old machines had engine switches, seen a few HD5 with 85HP ford V8 in them and also a few CAT machines with gas engines. One D6 with a Chrysler flat 8 with a torque converter behind it
Shhh.. down on this section I don't care if it has AC in the name , not like the guys in the first post line who are funny about things like that ... LOL Edited by Coke-in-MN - 05 Dec 2009 at 11:30pm |

Denis: Go to www.cletrac.com
There is a photo archive on there, recommend you look at the A and B machines. Very similar. HTH's Orangeman

More than likely an AG-6 which used a flathead 6 cyl gas engine. My father owned one after the War..

Cletrac is part of the AGCO family, another line that was dropped, although a long time before the orange and Oliver did it. Still, saving an old, usable machine is always good, sometimes even if it's, GASP, green!
