Were the rims of the G gray/silver or were they galvinized?
Thanks for any help.

Whenever I have a rim to redo, after it's really, really clean I give it 2 coats inside and out over 2-3 warm, sunny days.I figure if I don't do a GREAT job now, I'll have to look at it for the rest of my life.

ibleeorange. Your not far away from Rockford. Can't rememebr the outfit's name but it's a coating company I used several years ago to cold galvanize my G rims. Did a great job. You might want to check into it.

No but I'll see what I can do. Give me a day or two. Cold galvanizing is the original finish so they look just like they did when new. Also much more durable than paint.

Hello Ibleedorange Just a thought, My local Pomps tire will sandblast and power coat wheels up to 24". I had a pair of 34" wheels done else where. I don't think I will sandblast and paint anymore wheels, power coat is a better way.
