Really dang cool, to know that Allis was that diversified into other divisions, not just agricultural. The electrical division must have been fairly big in staff and employee size. Where was the factory located for making the motors?

At 700 volts pulling 9000 amps, it would take 6300 KW of electricity. At 7cents per kilowatt hour electricity cost, it would only take $441 per hour to run that motor at full load!
