Where can I buy gears for my I 40 transmission ??,kicks out of forward /reverse on shuttle.
I can hold my foot on lever & works fine.
Also need diagram of transmission

Tried argoparts,could not find any info,thanks for info. going to use till winter & then take apart,I can hold it in gear with my foot as it only kicks out occ. under load ??

If it's the shuttle lever that kicks back to neutral then you likely only need to rebuild the wet clutch assembly. Same as the HI-LOW on any ag version tractor. If it still pulls good it may only be the cams on the follower or the tips worn off the shift yoke. Remove the side plate and look inside for worn edges. The yoke can be replaced without splitting the tractor.

I forgot you were talking about an I-40, not the I-60 which is based on a D-15. Same internal design but I'm not sure how the wet clutch is accessed.
