has anyone seen any ac machines with the same shade paint? my dad had a lot of crawler loaders and dozers and I dont think any of them had the same shade paint and none of the machines were ever repainted one hd6 had a green color. I know the last hd6g he bought new in about 67 had a bright yellow with a orange tint .

The yellow paint codes are a total mystery. I think that AC just bought the cheapest yellow paint they could find.

I have a Sherwin-Williams  heavy equipment color chip deck that shows 7 differant  industrial yellows for AC . Cat old yellow falls somewhere in the middle with some AC colors lighter, somes darker

I have seen some original ind ac equip painted a yellow similar to agchem terragators and rogators. looks nice. Ed.
