Does anybody make a new wiring harness for a series 1 D17 diesel? I'm very able to make one, but if the price were right enough I'd buy one.

Have you checked with Dennis Colbensen in MN?  I've gotten some from him in the past, but not for diesels.  AGCO just MIGHT be a bit too pricy.

I offer a wiring system for the D17 gas Tractors, but I don't offer a D17D wiring system yet. If your system is complete and not cobbled up as rag-tag as it may be, I can use it for a pattern to build you a new one. As with any of my customer's that supply a good pattern for a wiring system, I always give them a super deal on the prototype for suppling a good pattern. Drop me a line or give me a call if interested...

Buy some wire, loom, solder and connectors and make your own, including battery cables. If you take your time you can make a real professional looking wiring harness for a fraction of the cost. Plus you can customize then, like if you switch to an alternator

The D17D harnesses, front early and late and rear are NLA from AGCO.
Is there a place to get a wiring diagram showing wiring colors?        Ed

I agree I would make your own. It may be a little more time but it will save you some of that green stuff! Blake_AllisMan

I'd be a little concerned about that guy, I asked a question of him about combining shipping, yes it is in the ads, and I did miss it, but his answer was "Read the ad"  I thought I asked politely, I can tell you this, my responce wasn't so polite.  Buyer beware of this guy!

Orange Blood,  Yes buyer beware, but some times it is hard to find these parts in this shape.  Just wanted folks to know about this chance for parts.
