My father is looking to buy an HD-16B but was wondering if the flywheel ran in oil or not? There seems to be some question as to a potential oil leak or something? I will try and get more info from him, but in the mean time any thoughts would be great.
thanks in advance Manitoba |

yes there oil in the flywheel housing but not alot. There is a clutch pack in this area and there is some lube oil here also. All of this oil returns to the transmison by a hose on the bottom of the flywheel housing.
