Ran accross this video of the Old Threshers Show in Mount Pleasant, Iowa (circa 1960) from an 8mm transfer I just finished. Video courtesy of Dave Galbreath, Paris, Illinois.

It's only about 2 minutes long, no ACs in it, but I thought you might enjoy it anyway.

Thankyou.  Very neat I've been there every year since the early 50's, now exibit and vollenteer.   There were not AC there then , because they did'nt have tractors at the show then, but in 2012 AC will be the feature tractor,  any year.  Every one is welcome, we would like to a big orange  showing.   We have a lot of AC yearly , that are 50 yrs old.  We still have just short of 100 large and scale  steam engine.  Many of them Allis linage Rumey, Advanced , Advanced Rumey, Garr Scott,  and Aultman and Taylor.  Don http://www.oldthreshers.org

Great video.  I know "The Greatest Show On Earth" is taken, but the Old Threshers show is a close second.  I hope to have my WC and possibly WD there.  Will for sure make plans for 2012 to have all my orange stuff there.  Really helps only living about 15 minutes from the grounds.

Reindeer:  The original music I had on it got flagged so I let youtube determine what music to play with it. I have no idea of how to find out what song they used.
