I was looking through some old photo albums of my mothers and found this pic of my grandfather on the day his new R MM was delivered with 2 row planter. Pic was taken just southwest of our house in early 1950's ?. Tag is still on front grill. I have located this tractor and owner has agreed to let me have it back. Tractor is about 50 miles from me but will require chain saw and loader to recover it. On my todo list.  Doyle

Great pictures. Wish I could find my  deceased Father's first tractor.  Have hunted for it. But I'm afraid  that old  Allis B got "recycled" years ago.  You are lucky to find that MM R model and able to get it home . Soon I hope.

You need to put it on the TOP of the to-do list!!!!!  I fill out the card on all parades and when they make the announcement that I'm driving a tractor that my grandfather owned, sold, and I purchased it back, it makes he hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time.

Congratulations!  That will be a special tractor when you get it home.  The R's and Z's are neat-amazing smooth steering.
Thanks
