the tin cover under the clutch just prys off.. Couple small fingers WEDGE it in...

the transmission, differential and PTO are one big housing.. 3 drain plugs on the bottom, but only ONE FILL PLUG... like a 1 inch pipe plug by your left foot on the side of the transmission..fill to the bottom thread... about 7-8 quarts of UTF or 20wt oil.. ... if you dont have hydraulics, its POSSIBLE that the housing has GEAR LUBE in it.. If your changing the oil, it would be better to have a lighter weight oil to get up to the upper shaft bearings..

air cleaner cup should be about half full... there should be a couple marks on the cup.. or there is a center  stand tube welded into the cup.. fill it up to the two SLOSH holes... that keeps the oil from sloshing around when you go up and down a hill.

Thanks,
I get the 3 drain plugs, when I drain the tran. Got lots of water when diff. Drain more oil & water, PTO got nothing I stuck scredriver I PTO hole just got brown gunk on long scredriver.
I empty the port tran.first
I will fill with D.F
& Let sit maybe drive 10 min.
But some where I read U should drain the pto on the housing somewhere. If I had that much water in tran etc. I thought I should find & drain U only add a cup of oil if U find it.
Thanks

the gasket between the differential and the PTO housing sticks up a couple inches... When the tractor is running  DOWN HILL, this gasket traps a quart of oil in the hydraulic / PTO housing so  you can still run the hydraulics... iF you drain the trans then the differential, then the PTO, you will only get a couple cups or a quart from the PTO area...

the water in the transmission came from leakage around the rubber boot /seal on the shift lever.. It will sink to the bottom and possibly never get into the hydraulic PTO area...  Your OK... just flush and refill..
