The Allis Connection has a new membership coordinator! Gerry Vande Vorde has graciously accepted this leadership position. Thanks, Gerry! TAC dues are still $25. We are an Allis-Chalmers collectors club, we have a scholarship program, and we host our annual Fathers Day Weekend Show at the Kalona City Park in Kalona, Iowa. Our newsletter is called "The Allis Connection", is 24 pages, full color, and is published 6 times per year. If you would like to renew your membership or join, please send a check to:

The Amana Society kept raising our rental for the Middle Amana Community Park, the Performing Arts Center wasn't really suitable for our banquets, and The Guest House and Zuber's Homestead Hotel both closed. Hotel Millwright is OK but it's expensive and not real family friendly. The AmericInn is a nice motel but it's pricey and way out on the interstate. We did look at other places in the Amana Colonies for our banquet but they're very pricey. We miss the Ox Yoke Inn but they're the ones who didn't want us back. The Village of Kalona welcomed our board members when we visited, extended hospitality, and made us a great financial deal, thus lowering the cost of our show by a great deal. There are a few details to be worked out at Kalona but we're certain that we'll have everything ironed out by April 11 annual meeting in Kalona. (I, too, will miss the Middle Amana Community Park.)
