This message is for someone who lives in NY or is coming to the NY Goto next week. I need a 11.2 X 24 decent tire. If you have one to sell and are coming to NY next week, I'll be there all week plus I live near the show grounds. text or call 607-282-0721

I have a couple different 11.2X24 tires available. If you can't find one, I'm in Maryland not far from Gettysburg Pa.

I had seriously planed on going to the New York GOTO with a couple CA tractors and all of the CA size equipment I could fit onto a tractor trailer, which would probably been a 7-8 hour trip. That was until I found out that you had to be a member of their little podunk two bit club to show your tractors. I have never taken tractors to show and been required to join just to show at a place I will probably never travel to again.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I have a few thoughts here. First, are you a member of the Eastern States Allis Club? I was. I spoke at your meeting 2 years ago inviting everyone to the GOTO in Madrid NY. I'm originally from central Pennsylvania. Joanne Lucabaugh is a good friend of mine. Now, if you are saying you have to be a member of the Pageant of Steam to display, true. But remember that membership gives you free entrance. If you are saying you have to be a member of the NY Allis to display, not true at all. You can set up your tractors in the general display area. Perhaps you can share more with me to clarify??

We require membership at our show in Ohio, it's $10.00 and that way your covered under our insurance if someone gets hurt on or by your piece of equipment.

I don't belong to any clubs and will not.
The BS about insurance is more to cover the clubs A$$ than anyone else. I carry more personal lability insurance than these to bit clubs that don't allow a guest to come show their tractor. If clubs were really interested in safety, they would limit the golf carts and other various A$$ toters to those with a handicap endorsement on their drivers license.  Often once they are on the ground the kids get turned loose on then and become a menace. Of any of the large shows I've attended, they generally have a constant circle of people movers and personal A$$ toters are a hazard. Just because someone is TOO fat to move around on their own isn't a handicap. I saw this at this weekend show which wasn't big enough to need to be hauled around even if you wanted to go out to the field demos.
