I finally got some time this afternoon to work on getting my wagon running gear apart.  The previous owner had welded the fron to the back with a short section of pipe.  They did a very thorough job of welding it.  I went through several cutting disks and grinding disks.  They even welded the outer tube to the inner pipe through a bolt hole.  THat was fun to drill out.

I found a layer of orange under the gray and gunk.  Any idea what brand this is?

I pulled the front wheels off to check the hunds.  The first one came off full of bearing rollers, the second had water in it.  I think I'll be buying four set of bearings, four seals, and a can or two of grease.  It had a combination of Timiken, KOYO, and NTN bearings and races.

You may want to take your scrap steel from the tank frame and fabricate 4 bolster mounts from it that can be bolted into the 3 holes as seen on your wheel frames?

Adam, sorry I didn't send you those pictures of my pivot on my running gear yet, but here they are.  The tube has a slot cut into it, and the bolt has a square washer cut to match, so that the rear tube can pivot 15-20 degrees in each direction.  Might not be the best design but gives you some ideas.

Thanks Chuck - I'll have to figure something like that out.
