Has anyone run one of these aluminum radiators? The one in my pulling tractor has sprung a leak. A original style radiator is almost double the price and I have yet to call about getting the original recored but from what my grandpa has told me that won’t be real cheap either

A re-core is not the cheapest option, but it is the best and most reliable option in my opinion.  A local shop will guarantee their work and help you if there are any problems.  Amazon and e-Bay will not.

A "puller" ?? Have you tried some good stop leak with water only for coolant??? don't need antifreeze in the summer.

A little Solder Seal and straight water should do the trick if the leak isn't to big. If that doesn't work, save your money and have the original recored. That's probably a sure bet that it will last a loooong time....

At 1/2 the price and using the tractor few hours as a puller I'd try the aluminum one.

Guy supplied an aluminum radiator for a Wd at work. My brother put it in. He said stay away from them. They don’t fit quite right. He had to do lots of massaging to get it to fit. Quality didn’t seem that good. Buyer beware.

I have no experience with the W_ tractor aluminum radiators, however I have gotten one for a CA. The workmanship was very good, although when the Chinese changed the dimensions from inches to millimeters something got really fouled up. The fit WAS TERRIBLE and I could barely get the radiator shroud swelled out to go over the radiator. I'd never buy another. From my experience Shoup has about the best quality and price that I've come across. Contrary to general belief, the ones I've gotten for CAs have been made in Ireland not China.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

If it's only being used for pulling & the leak isn't too horrendous I'd try the doctor's suggestion first of all. I've used a couple tablespoons of ground black pepper to great effect in a number of radiators & it doesn't tend to clog up things as badly as proprietary stop leaks.
