First use of my CA in nearly 40 years was fairly successful (video maybe in a week or so). Mowed an overgrown field with a 6ft finish mower. Seemed like light work for it. Grass and sage was 3ft in spots. Cleared limbs and obstacles beforehand. I noticed it misses less under heavy load. One accident occurred without consequence...the left side lift arm came loose at the implement because the flip ring pin fell out...Hard to see how that happened. Is there a better pin type? AI says flip ring is better than the double wire bail pin in terms of falling out.

get a couple of large "R" clips (lots bigger than these) and drive it through until it's hanging, brush and limbs have never pulled mine out

Lost linchpin a couple of times harrowing. Now I use a bolt that I double nut. Works for me . Joe's idea looks good too.

Always thought those were even more loss prone, but never pushed one on that far...have lots of those, I may try it.

Grind off the lynch pin end a little so the lock ring crosses over it. Rotate the pull pin so the lynch pin is horizontal not vertical.
