Hi Folks! Im new to the forum as I just picked up a D-14 a week ago. I have a question, What is "Traction Boost"? I have a lever and a gauge. could some one give me some insight on this, Im stumped.

The lever sets the sensitivity. It basically senses the load on the drawbar and when it exceeds the level yo have set with the lever, it will slightly raise the lift arms.

 
Imagine a plow running in the ground, and you hit a hard spot.  Instead of spinngint he wheels, it tries to lift the plow a bit, which boosts traction by pushing the tires into the ground harder.  Really makes a difference in plowing and a few other jobs.
