Good evening!!
So I’m wondering if John Deere low velocity hydraulic oil would work in the hydro?
I just got it running for the first time in who knows (the battery was dated 2000) and it had a hole in the block from the balancer gear breaking.
I took the block into my local blacksmith and he patched the hole and I put a new piston and rings and now it runs great!!!
I have a tiller, mower deck, front blade, snowblower, and a little Allis cart for it so it’s going to be worked pretty good….

Can you look up Allis part numbers?
I have a original parts catalog for them but the nearest agco dealer can’t look any numbers up…

So as I’m using the tractor it seems to be a weak hydro going backwards, forward is fine but if I back up over a bump it will stop…
I’ve adjusted the turnbuckle so neutral is correct (I think) so I’m wondering if anyone else has had that problem?
Mikez, I’m working on a list of things to price and I will private message you when I complete it…

Well I may have fixed the reverse problem…
I extended the arm on the hydro lever so it will have more movement…
Pictures aren’t very good but you can kinda see what I did..
