How much horsepower will a stock 210 clutch hold? Reason is I just picked up a very cheap 210 with a blown engine and I have a good running 7080 engine sitting here. It wont be pulling plows and the like every day, be more like a planter type tractor but every now and then I'll probably use it for heavy work and want to make sure a stock clutch will hold or if I need to come up with something before I put this engine in. thanks!

A new stock clutch will hold 200 hp OK.......a worn stock clutch may not hold 100 hp depending on the condition.

If you plan to pull it with more than 200 hp, you may as well put in the heavy duty 30 spring pulling clutch, and 8 pad HD disc. I got mine from Allied Precision in Pocahontas IA. Not much more than a reman stock unit, but a fairly stiff pedal.

I might pull it sometime but it will still be used for field work and planting too. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do right now lol
