Guys did AC make a snap Coupler single disk without the lift arms? They had 1 at a consignment auction that sold on Sunday. It was about 8'. The disk gangs were adjustable. I had never seen one before. This could not have been a home made hitch, defiantly a factory hitch. The snap Coupler part of the tounge was too small to get a clevis thru it. I was unable to attend this auction.

Wouldn't they have needed one prior to 1948 with the arrival of the WD with hydraulic?

Tom, they didn't have lift-links like a plow. They had chains that connected to the lift latches.
