Forgive me for the off color post but I recently helped my buddy install a 12 v conversion kit and starter in his JD 70 diesel. The V4 pony engine is in need of a complete rebuild. I do not have Facebook so I am listing it here see if there is any interest. Pony comes with everything that we took off the tractor to install the conversion kit. Pony starter, 6V generator, carburetor, pony clutch interface. It’s too heavy for me to ship, would prefer local pickup. Only way I would ship would be through Fasenal. Buyer would be responsible for all shipping charges. Just don’t want to scrap it so I would like someone who needs it get it cheap. $250
Thanks

Doubt you get any takers at $25 much less $250. It is only useful on a JD and it is WORE OUT!! A small cool factor is about it. Your asking price plus shipping? That's got to be some change. Just my opinion of course.

I posted here Steve because many folks have several brands. I’m totally Orange but this 70 Deere is a neat tractor and I see the significance of keeping one original if one can afford the rebuild. A lot good parts that are hard to come by. Just as AC has rare parts so does Deere. As said above the block alone is worth more than the asking price. If I get no responses then at least I tried to save a piece of history even if it’s green.
