The Last IB made acording to the serrial number. Is up for aution tommarow Oct 3 out side Reedsburg Wi. Go to www.gavinbros.com  and look at the auctions listing.

This is from the auction bill: "Allis-Chalmers 1955 IB Last Factory Built IB SN 3372"
I think 3372 would be a 1956, maybe they meant it was the last one with that serial number ;-)

Mine is IB 3523.

I thought the last IB serial # would be just shy of 3600?

My IB is serial # 3565 so I guess that puts it close to the end of production.
