Confused  I been chasing my tail on a Turbo Ques

I have for years used Turbo on line for filing since we go joint and get the standard deduction.  However this year we had to have a new geothermal unit installed and I got some info about a residential Geo tax credit.

What I would like to know is if the info concerning the tax credit can be included when filing on line.  I don't want to go all the way thru the process and find out the tax credit info cannot be included with/in that version of turbo.

If anyone has any info on my quandary, I would appreciate your assistance.  Thanx,  Dave

I dont know if tax credits can be used with Standard Deductions or not... If you get part way thru the tax form and fill in "tax credit" and it is not acceptable, they will ask you if you want to UPGRADE to the next version ( longer form) ... you dont have to do anything.. just pay a few $$ more.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Thanks Steve.  I think I am up to the challenge now.

Went thru the tax info folder last night.  Dayum, two 1099's missing.  Couple of phone calls this am and then looking like the snow may stop in time to deal with some of it today.  Smile

Really appreciate it.  Dave
