Just finished going through a Simplicity 3416H. .  Video at:

Vintage 16 HP Simplicity Sovereign series garden tractor. Hydrostatic transmission so no gears to select. Can speed up, slow down and reverse from the hydrostatic control lever. New in the early 70's, but has been gone through and has a replacement Briggs and Stratton cast iron 16 HP motor. 42" mower deck and 36" snowblower included. Built like a tank, sister machine to the Allis Chalmers 616, 716. Very heavy metal, and almost no plastic. Retired, and like fixing old machinery, so this one has had the following work done in the last 2 months. -Rebuilt the power distribution gearbox with new bearings and seals where needed (Bevel Gear Box) -Checked and replaced mower bearings as needed -Carburetor ultrasonically cleaned, and new carb kit -New alternator and voltage regulator and rewired as needed -New seat -New halogen headlights -Fresh engine oil, synthetic oil in bevel gear box -Driveline reworked to fit replacement motor properly -Painted hood and seat pan as the tractor had been outside for a long time, and needed it.
